The SEA at 360 °: he will be the undisputed protagonist of Seafuture. To talk about all aspects of the sea in order to provide a business model that combines industry, science, technology and attention to the environment: this is the goal of Seafuture 2018.
The event, which will take place from 19 to 23 June in the Naval Base of La Spezia, organized by IBG (Italian Blue Growth, a company formed by the Ligurian District of Marine Technologies, Consorzio Tecnomar Liguria and EIEAD) together with AIAD, Liguria Region, Blue Hub (Special Company of the Chamber of Commerce of the Riviere di Liguria) and in collaboration with the Navy, is confirmed as an essential event for those who live and work within the SEA, for all the international players of the Blue Economy as well as the only world dedicated toupgrade e upkeeping of naval units with the most sophisticated technologies available.
In the 9000 square meters of the prestigious exhibition space among the historic buildings of the Arsenale of the La Spezia Navy, SMEs and companies from all over the world will have the opportunity to meet and discuss: from Peru to India to international giants such as Fincantieri, Leonardo, MBDA, Thales and Naval Group. But the extraordinary success will be guaranteed by the presence of Delegations from 40 foreign countries who will sit at the table of the companies giving life to advanced bilateral meetings.
The congress part will develop during the four days of the event with wide-ranging conferences on the most varied aspects of the sea economy associated with seminars and workshops of high scientific profile that will address the technical issues of maritime, military and dual interest.
All the protagonists will be united under the aegis of Seafuture to promote Blue Growth, the support strategy for sustainable growth indicated by the European Community.
They will be Cristiana Pagni, President of IBG, Admiral Gianfranco Annunziata Deputy Head of the III Department of the Navy and Seafutre's project officer to present the 2018 edition during the press conference scheduled for the 6 in June at the 11,30 at the Italian Navy Officers' Club Spice.
