The Carabinieri of the Segni station have implemented an application order for a personal precautionary measure of removal from the family home and a ban on approaching the offended person, a 45-year-old woman, issued by the GIP of the Court of Velletri, at the request of the local Prosecutor's Office , regarding a 50-year-old from Segni, seriously suspected of mistreatment in the family.

The provision arises from the investigations activated by the Carabinieri which allowed the acquisition of irrefutable investigative elements against the suspect, whose conduct was immediately communicated to the Veliterna AG, in relation to the repeated interventions requested by the ex-spouse, and in particular that of 21 March 2024, at their marital home in Segni, where the suspect seriously insulted and threatened his wife in the presence of the police.

The victim told the military that she has been living with the man since 2016 with whom she is linked by a civil marriage and that for years she has suffered insults, derogatory comments and death threats, up until the most recent physical attacks.

At the height of the last physical attack, on March 21st, the victim decided to ask for help on the emergency number "112". She herself precisely denounced the conduct of her husband, immediately appearing sincere, painfully recalling her difficult coexistence.

The police reassured the victim who, feeling reassured and protected, decided to report the man, and thus put an end to the harassment.

Also in this case there was confirmation of the sensitivity and specific professional preparation of the military in dealing with cases of gender violence, for which the attention of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Velletri is very high.
