As part of an investigation activity, coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Court of Velletri, the Carabinieri of the Segni Station executed an order with which the Veliterno GIP ordered the precautionary measure of custody in prison for a 47-year-old young man, already known, seriously suspected of persecutory acts.

The exasperated victim turned to the station's military, telling them that the 47-year-old, over the last period, had carried out repeated persecutory conduct against him and his family, consisting of intimidating behavior and death threats for an alleged credit boasted against the complainant who allegedly took over a commercial activity previously closed by the suspect following economic problems.

In support of the circumstantial framework, the witnesses' stories and the numerous calls extrapolated from the victim's phone were decisive. This conduct caused the complainant to feel a strong state of anxiety and fear for his own safety, such as to change his lifestyle habits.

The story ended with the issuing of the provision by the Court of Velletri which put an end to the conduct reported by the victim who found her peace of mind.

Even in this context, the reporting by the victims who suffer such crimes or by the people who are closest to them was of fundamental importance, so as to allow the Judicial Authority to intervene quickly to protect them.
