Mipaaf: In the State-Regions Conference measures for the wine sector and update of the risk management plan in agriculture 2021
Two important measures for the wine sector and the communication of the decree amending the “Risk management plan in agriculture 2021. These are the main points of agricultural interest brought today to the State-Regions Conference.
With two urgent measures, the deadline for submitting harvest declarations for the 15-30 wine campaign and for aid applications for the application of the investment measure, again relating to 2021/2021 campaign.
As regards the “Agricultural Risk Management Plan 2021”, the ministerial decree that amends the 2020 text, based on the changes to the national rural development program, was presented to the Regions. In particular, in the case of mutual funds, the compensation threshold is reduced from 30% to 20%, allowed by EU Regulation 2220/2020, and the possibility of setting up sectoral ISTs funds is extended to the sugar beet sector. The list of products that can be insured or subject to mutual coverage for which specific Standard Value can be approved, relating to plant production for 2021, has also been updated.
