New proposed convention by the INPS to unblock pension payments

The INPS was among the first to underline the absurdity of the penalties suffered by mobile workers in the pension sector and, over the last year, has been very busy to find a meeting point with the professional Funds in order to implement to the law on cumulation guaranteeing workers that they can fully enjoy the right but, at the same time, avoiding aggravating the accounts of private social security institutions.

Following the impasse situation that occurred with regard to the non-agreement between INPS and Professional Funds on the division of pension management costs paid under the cumulation scheme, INPS, in order to avoid further delays for the workers involved, is sending to the Casse a new convention text.

This text provides for a modification of the article concerning the costs, to be divided according to the amount of pension provided by each institution. In particular, the text refers to a committee of experts the determination of the amount to be divided and leaves the parties, in case of non-identification of the amount in due time, the possibility to refer to the judge.

The new convention text immediately allows the payments to be unblocked and the parties to solve the bureaucratic difficulties at a later time, without this having any further repercussions on the professionals involved.

The Institute presented yesterday to the technical groups of the Casse the IT platform for the management of cumulative benefits and therefore relies on a swift conclusion of the agreement to proceed with the liquidation of the first pensions.
