The Armed Forces, from 11 to 13 next October, will be present at the Foro Italico as part of the 9 ^ edition of the "Tennis and Friends" event - Health and Sport ... Sport is Health, the weekend entirely dedicated to health, with the aim to promote a correct lifestyle, an early diagnosis and allow all citizens to carry out free check-ups and specialist visits.
For the event the Health Village and a renewed Sports Village have been set up, with the presence of personalities from the world of culture, sports and entertainment involved in the Celebrity Tennis Tournament. Elements that together with the many invited testimonials, will entertain the public waiting to carry out their free check-up.
The Armed Forces, to make an effective contribution to the initiative and to make known the multiplicity of activities carried out by all the components of the Defense for the security of the country and in favor of the community, will participate in the event with health facilities, bands, testimonials sports and exhibition stands of the Armed Forces. In particular, at the Villagio della Salute there will be a “Health Interforces Area”, promoted by the General Inspectorate of Military Health (IGESAN) which, together with other departments, will support prevention for a correct lifestyle with specialist visits on the days of '12 and 13 October.
The theme "Sport and Health" fully embraces the inspiring principles of the activities of the Armed Forces, which have always been committed, in the context of the institutional tasks of Defense and Security in favor of the Country and the international community, to promote the well-being of the personnel through a careful health prevention, which is also achieved with healthy physical activity.
As evidence of this, in the days of the 11 October from 14.30 to 19.00 and 12 October from 09.00 to 11.00, a conference will be held on “Health and Sport: promotion of physical activity in the Armed Forces and in the workplace”, at the 'Aula Magna of the "Giulio Onesti" Olympic Training Center at Acqua Acetosa. The event will consist of two sessions, entitled "Physical activity in the workplace" and "Armed Forces and lifestyles", and a round table entitled "Physical activity in extreme conditions".

The Armed Forces will be present at the "Sports Village" with the rock wall and an Army Lince VTLM, with the sailing simulator and mobile information center of the Navy, with the AMX flight and cockpit simulator the Aeronautica and with a Giulia car, n.1 BMW motorcycle and Carabinieri anti-counterfeiting currency team.
In addition, the following medical arrangements will be made available at the "Health Village": an information stand and medical organization dedicated to BLS resuscitation, by instructors of the Navy, specialist in ophthalmology and cardiology, by the Navy; Mobile dental unit, by the Aeronautica Militare; Specialists in senology, cardiology, internal medicine and dermatology by the Italian Army; Mobile otorhinolaryngology unit, by the Carabinieri Corps.

- Friday 11 October 2019: from 09.00 to 13.30 - day dedicated to schools;
- Saturday 12 October 2019: from 10.00 to 20.00;
- Sunday 13 October 2019: from 10.00 to 18.00.
The Armed Forces fanfare will perform with the following program:
- Italian Army Friday 11 October 2019 from 11.30 to 12.00;
- Marina Militare Saturday 12 October 2019 from 17.00 to 17.30;
- Aeronautica Militare Sunday 13 October 2019 from 16.00 to 16.30;
- Carabinieri weapon Sunday 13 October 2019 from 13.00 to 13.30.
