The Tennis & Friends initiative is now in its 9th edition, combining the theme of entertainment and sport with that of prevention. The event started today, and will end tomorrow 13 October, from 10,00 to 18,00 at the Foro Italico in Rome.
The State Police have always participated in the event with various initiatives and this morning the Vice Chief Vicar of the Police Prefect Antonio De Iesu will also visit the stands.
In particular, during the days, visitors will be able to make free visits and consultancy activities with nutritionists, diabetologists and angiologists and carry out instrumental diagnostics at the health station of the "Nutrition and Prevention" State Police.
The Scientific Police Service is present with a dedicated gazebo and with the Fullback display, the vehicle equipped with the most modern technologies for the needs of the Scientific Police specialists.
For adults and children there will be performances by the Canine Units, medaled athletes from the Boxing and Fencing sections of the Fiamme Oro Sports Groups. There will also be a gazebo dedicated to the “YOUPOL” App, created by the State Police to combat the phenomenon of bullying and drug dealing, especially among the youngest.
The State Police will also be present with the Lamborghini Huracan, a vehicle equipped and used for transporting organs, 2 motorcycles of the Traffic Police and with the Camper dedicated to the campaign against violence against women "This is not love".
Finally, the public will be able to admire the exclusive performance of the State Police Fanfara Horse.
