The manifestations of solidarity multiply, simple gestures in a society that too often has distinguished itself for selfishness and hypocrisy ... gestures that invite us to reflect to give the right value to the mystery of life.
Singular the initiative of a group of volunteers who from north to south have joined together to offer concrete help to all those families particularly affected by the emergency of COVID-19.
We are a group made up of 11 people from all over Italy. The idea was created by the GREAT founders Donato Vallariello and Elenora Pietromarchi. At the beginning we created a group on Facebook called Aiutiamoci italiana. Later, however, we wanted to create other pages on social networks to make ourselves known, such as Facebook (the solidarity market), Instagram (the solidarity market) and a website (www.ilmercatosolidale.it). Our "mission" is to help those in difficulty and our desire is to continue even after this tragic situation in Covid-19.
We have already sent parcels throughout Italy and will continue to do so. There is no price in seeing the happiness of those who from Bolzano send a food package to Catania or vice versa; Italy is one and by doing this you notice it and appreciate it even more! It must be said that the distances that today are the salvation against the virus in solidarity are cut down by these powerful social media! The will to give happiness is leading us to always create new initiatives.
During the Easter period we gave eggs to many children, including orphanages and seeing the smile of these children is something indescribable. Eager to never stop bringing joy throughout Italy, we have created two other initiatives: "Adopt a mother" for anyone wishing to adopt a mother in difficulty. Mothers have an infinite heart like the sea and we know very well how a mother's smile can make your home and family shine. They are creatures of God who give unconditional love to their children.
Since our goal is to give joy from North to South of Italy in a completely voluntary way, the Solidarity Market has thought well of making an event special with another initiative "Give a cake". This idea was born for everyone but especially for children who cannot have a party and make them happy on a day so important to them. We would therefore like to continue on this beautiful adventure ad infinitum, helping without stopping and involving as many companies as possible in order to have them alongside in our charitable initiatives that from now on we will do to increase thanks also to our fundraising, users and smiles! We are not yet an association, but we are working to be an association. We already have a godmother who is Margot, Maria from Un medico in Famiglia, Diana Caruso godmother in the world of TV and Neja in the world of music. We, those of the "solidarity market" are distant but deeply united!
