Control operation by the Carabinieri of the Colleferro Company, engaged daily in a systematic and widespread control activity of the territory aimed at guaranteeing greater safety standards to the community. The targeted preventive activity arranged by Provincial Command of Rome allowed the arrest of three people, a 48-year-old, a 33-year-old and a 39-year-old, seriously suspected of aggravated theft, resistance and injury to a public official.
Last Friday, i Carabinieri of the Radiomobile Unit of the Norm of Colleferro they arrested a 39-year-old for resisting and injuring a public official. In particular, the 39-year-old attracted the attention of the military because, in Piazza della Vittoria in Artena, he carried out dangerous driving maneuvers. When the military forced him to stop. the man abandoned the vehicle and ran away and was promptly caught and blocked, nevertheless he resisted the workers who suffered minor injuries. The man was also reported for refusing to undergo tests to verify that he was under the influence of alcohol and for repeatedly driving without a licence. The vehicle was seized as it did not have insurance coverage. The investigating judge validated the arrest and sentenced, following a plea agreement, the 39-year-old to 6 months in prison with a suspended sentence.
On Saturday afternoon, ending up in the net of the Carabinieri of the Valmontone Station they were two citizens, aged 48 and 33, caught immediately after having removed glasses, worth 850 euros, inside a shop in theValmontone Outlet. The goods were returned to the owner of the business and the two South American citizens were placed in handcuffs. This morning, the GIP validated the two arrests and ordered the mandatory signature precautionary measure for both.
This operation is part of a broader action to combat the phenomenon of theft in commercial activities launched by the Carabinieri in collaboration with the internal security staff of the shopping centres.
