Tourism: Hundred, important amendments approved by delegation law. The car started

"The car has officially started. To those who in recent months have accused me of having only made announcements and promises but nothing concrete about tourism, I respond with concrete facts. Thanks to our work at Mipaaft and the work of our colleagues in Parliament, we are approving in these hours in the Production Activities Commission in the Chamber, very important amendments to the Tourism Delegation Law, fundamental for the address that I intend to give for the next few years to what I believe it is one of the most important sectors in our country. We have created the identification code, included in the Growth Decree, an indispensable tool for improving the tourist offer and defeating illegal activity. Today we can announce the green light for a series of amendments, on which we have worked at the Ministry, presented by the Hon. Giorgia Andreuzza, rapporteur and group leader in the Commission, and with whom we will finally be able to put into practice the work done together in these months". This is what was declared by the Minister of Agricultural, Food, Forestry and Tourism Policies, Sen. Gian Marco Centinaio.

"Accessible tourism, return tourism and rural tourism, just to mention a few, are not just more beautiful words but realities that can be declined quickly. We think of the 'fragile' categories, those with disabilities, but also large families, young people, inclusive and low-cost measures, which will include, and this is a very important novelty, also the use of public real estate assets. The possibility, with that of return, to make tourism even in areas that are not traditional tourist destinations and above all even outside the high season. And again the rediscovery of rural areas, where the combination of agriculture and tourism is summed up to the maximum, in which I strongly believe. Finally, and I believe this to be a fundamental step, the Tourist Charter has also passed, always included in the Growth Decree and already immediately applicable, which will allow tourists to purchase goods and services, from transport to entry, with a single instrument. to places of culture, amusement parks, shows, food and wine products. We are only at the beginning - Minister Hundred concludes - Italy does not need bureaucracy but a law that can finally give certain and useful tools for the whole sector. And on this we continue to work and move forward".
