In recent days, the Carabinieri of the Colleferro Company in collaboration with the Association for the Treatment of Pathological Addictions (ACuDiPa) held seven conferences, aimed at middle school students (L. Da Vinci of Colleferro - Leone XIII of Carpineto Romano - IC L. Da Vinci of Labico) and of the High Schools (IPSIA of Colleferro – IIS and ITCG “A. Gramsci” of Valmontone – ITIS “S. Cannizzaro” and IIS “G. Marconi” of Colleferro, organized with the collaboration of the respective School managements as part of the "culture of legality" training activities.

The meetings held by the Commander of the Carabinieri Company of Colleferro, accompanied by the Station Commanders of Valmontone, Labico and Carpineto Romano, and by Dr. Sara Nocera, Emergency Supporter, representative of the ACuDiPa Association, engaged in activities related to the treatment of pathological addictions.

A total of over 1000 students from the aforementioned schools located in the area participated in the conferences, with whom the speakers spent several hours and stimulated reflection on the importance of respecting the rules in everyday life, on bullying and cyberbullying , on the conscious use of social media and the dangers of the internet and finally on youth addictions, in particular alcohol and drugs.

The conferences, which began with greetings and thanks from the school principals, attracted great interest from the young people with numerous questions and interventions during which the speakers underlined that the observance of the rules of life, rights and duties - an inseparable combination , should be considered as an opportunity to grow together, not as a limit to one's being.

The activity is part of the initiatives undertaken by the Provincial Carabinieri Command of Rome which has as its objective the promotion and development of the culture of legality within all the educational institutions of the province.
