Valditara: "In Turin, a fruitful discussion with Mayor Lo Russo on the school sector"

"Thanks to the action of the Ministry, the Municipality of Turin was able to take advantage of an extra 12 million euros for important works in two kindergartens"

"Today in Turin I had a cordial and fruitful discussion with Mayor Stefano Lo Russo, who was keen to thank me for the Ministry's commitment to finding more and more funding for schools", declared the Minister of Education and Merit Joseph Vallettara. "Thanks to 1 billion and 200 million of additional resources that the Ministry found in the folds of the budget (and which add up to the funds of the PNRR), the Municipality of Turin was in fact able to take advantage of 12 million more euros to carry out important works in two preschools in the city: "Gabelli" Comprehensive Institute - "GE Pestalozzi" Primary School, Via Banfo 32, for € 5.090.400, and the "Pacinotti" Comprehensive Institute - "Carlo Boncompagni" Primary School, Via Vidua 1, for €6.606.033,48".

“Thanks to these additional funds, the Municipality of Turin will be able to free up important resources (which they had initially committed to the two schools) for works complementary to the restructuring of the Turin Esposizioni Civic Library, a strategic project financed with the Complementary Plan. I am proud to have guaranteed, with the action of the Ministry that I preside over, important additional resources for schools throughout Italy, as the mayors, councilors and school managers confirm to me every day", concluded the Minister.
