School, 200 million to local authorities for light building interventions. Another 70 million for renting premises for the Bianchi classrooms: "The resources will be distributed also taking into account the large number of the school population"
Green light for specific funding, intended for local authorities, for light construction works and rent of spaces in view of the resumption of lessons for the school year 2021/2022. In particular, the Ministry of Education has published a Notice which provides for 270 million euros: 200 million will be used for light building interventions in the classrooms and within the school structures, another 70 million, allocated with the support decree bis, for the '' rental of educational spaces to deal with the epidemiological emergency.
“Allowing female students to return to school in the presence and in safety is a priority objective of the Government, it has been since our inauguration - declares the Minister of Education Patrizio Bianchi -. Looking at the numbers, since February, in just a few months, we have assigned over 3,1 billion euros to local authorities for school buildings and over 2 billion euros for safe recovery ”.
"With the Notice that we have published - continues the Minister - we are giving a further concrete signal of attention to the territories and of the Government's commitment to the recovery in September in the presence, with a novelty: the resources for rents and for light construction will be distributed with a precise parameter, taking into account, that is, schools with classrooms where a greater number of students are concentrated, those large classes that we want to reduce and with respect to which we are developing a specific plan that also starts from construction school and reaches up to the PNRR ".
"Together with the 400 million allocated by the support decree bis for the temporary assignments of ATA and teaching staff, in particular for the enhancement of learning, the resources for the spaces represent a further step in the direction of a recovery in the presence and in safety", he concludes the minister.
The Notice
Greater resources will therefore be guaranteed to local authorities on whose territories there are schools with a higher number of pupils. For example, municipalities, provinces, metropolitan cities and regional decentralization bodies with school populations over 100.000 students will be allocated up to a maximum of € 2.000.000 for rents and rentals and up to € 1.000.000 for works.
Three different rankings will be drawn up: for rents and related running costs; for rentals and related operating expenses; for the work of securing and adapting spaces and classrooms.
