MIT: € 412 million to support LPT companies

The agreement of the Unified Conference on the inter-ministerial decree, proposed by the Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Paola De Micheli with the Minister of Economy and Finance, Roberto Gualtieri, which provides for the immediate assignment to the Regions of a total of 412 was acquired today millions of euros to be distributed to LPT companies to compensate for the lost revenues caused by the stoppage of services in the lockdown period.

This is a first and important endowment of 500 million resources allocated in this initial phase, not even a month after the publication of the Dl Relaunch. Resources that have been defined on the basis of the traffic revenues certified by the companies for the 2018 financial year, pending the availability of those for 2019.

In detail, today's anticipation corresponds to 55% of the certified revenues in the period from 23 February 2018 to 3 May 2018 and was considered the most appropriate by the offices of MIT and MEF, as well as by the Coordination of the Regions based on data provided by the database of the Observatory for TPL Policies.

The approximately 88 million euros that make up the remainder of resources to be allocated, will make it possible to review the current allocations when definitive allocations are made.
