At the end of Forum on China Africa Cooperation - Foac - Chinese President Xi linping said that relations between China and Africa are "the best in history" today, towards an even stronger China-Africa community for a shared future ".
In the «Action Plan 2019-2021» Xi said, “we will put the Belt & Road Initiative in synergy with the 2063 Agenda of the African Union, the 2030 UN Agenda for sustainable development and the national policies of African countries”.
The Chinese government has thus promised 60 billions of dollars of investment by giving renewed emphasis on promoting sustainable and environmentally friendly development. Xi announced that there will be about fifty "green" projects - from combating desertification and climate change to the protection of wildlife - and added that Chinese companies will move with increasing awareness of their social responsibilities and respect for cultures and local traditions.
