Libya, Al Sarraj condemns the manipulation of the Tripoli clashes

Presidential Council chief Fayez Al-Sarray said in a televised statement that he was taken by surprise by the South Shrouds of Tripoli, saying the fighting caused innocent deaths among military and civilian units.
"Civilians must remain outside the circle of violence which will unfortunately end with further destruction and deaths among innocent civilians, but the perpetrators will be brought to justice."
Al Sarraj added that he had contacted some parties to contain the clashes, but "some have insisted on sending more young people to the battlefield", adding that only the elderly are an advantage in bringing young people to reason, with the hope that they will. ".
"The air force of the Presidential Council has not carried out any air strikes in any city, its operations are limited to Tripoli". Al-Sarraj highlighted.
He denied that there is a unit under the name of the XNUMXth Brigade under the command of his government, adding that that entity was disbanded last April.
"We reject any military act for any cause".
All the parties involved must make concessions for the best interest of the country and lose the mentality of the winner or loser as this would only lead to the collapse of the state of Libya.
“The central and western military zones will be in charge of overseeing the ceasefire in Tripoli and the return of the factions to their headquarters. We hope that everyone is committed to this order that will save the city and the country from greater chaos ”.
Then he told the House of Representatives and the High Council of State that they had to do their job in bringing together state institutions and implementing the legislation they needed, as well as establishing a constitutional basis for the upcoming elections.
“The elections are a popular demand and we will all work to ensure that all the outbreaks of war on the scene can end. It is necessary to stop the manipulation that tends to prolong the crisis for purposes of power ”, so Al-Sarray concluded.
