In light of the seriousness of the fact, the company owner of the IT platform informed the FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation) that, after acquiring the user's registration data from the American software house and verifying that it was an Italian, he transmitted to the National Cyber ​​Anticrime Center and for the Protection of Critical Infrastructures of the Postal Police.

The investigations, of very high computer complexity, being anonymization systems used for navigation, made it possible to ascertain that the connections had been made through a connection from the Marche region.

Further, contextual in-depth technical and traditional investigations made it possible to verify that the account was not in use by the registered subject, but by another subject, the real user of the gaming platform. The young man, given the elements collected against him, was referred to the Judicial Authority due to alarm.
