There are high volumes of traffic along the SS 51 in Alemagna towards Cortina, the SS 36, 38 and 40 in Lombardy, the SS 16 Adriatica, the SS 12 of Abetone and Brenner towards Trentino Alto Adige, the SS 21 of the Maddalena and the SS 20 of Colle di Tenda in Piedmont in the direction of the French border, as well as along the motorway junctions of Friuli Venezia Giulia towards Slovenia and in Sicily along the ring road of Catania
