Today, at the Villa del Marchese di Sanfelice, in the presence of local institutions, FIGC and Eni representatives, the Federal Territorial Center of Potenza-Viggiano was inaugurated at the "Coviello" sports field, the second in Basilicata.
It is a new opportunity for the young people of the region to come into contact, through football, with an important education and training project based on fundamental values such as integration, aggregation, trust, team play and respect for the rules. Values that Eni shares and has chosen to promote through support as Top Sponsor of all the FIGC National Teams and as Official Sponsor of the Federal Territorial Centers, a Federcalcio project that aims to monitor the most promising players in the area and dedicate themselves to their growth technique during the weekly training sessions in order to provide an additional training activity of excellence parallel to that carried out with the respective clubs.
Thanks to its presence and its commitment on the territory, Eni has started many projects with schools. For Eni it is essential to invest in projects that can train and value the younger generations through the values of culture and sport, which convey company principles such as environmental and social sustainability.
The press conference to present the CFT was also an opportunity to launch Eni's bootcamp «#energiaperlanazionale», which will take place in the Municipality of Viggiano on Saturday 21 April. The event will be open to young people from the area between the ages of 18 and 25 and will consist of a challenge during which the children, organized as a team, will have to create an educational video using the semantics of football to talk about values basis of the community. The day will be led by the disseminators of the Eni Enrico Mattei Foundation (FEEM). The top finishers will have the opportunity to fly to Nice with the national team to attend the friendly France-Italy on 1 June 2018.
A road tour, from Potenza to Viggiano that will stop in some squares and schools of the Valley, will give the possibility to the guys interested in the initiative to have information and to register.
