The Arab Parliament held, under the presidency of Dr Mishal bin, a political agreement for peaceful development, in view of the plenary meeting on 13 February at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States in Cairo.
The parliamentary session will focus on the discussion of the vast Arab document to combat extremism and terrorism published by the Third Conference of the Arab Parliament and the heads of Arab parliaments held on Saturday 10 February 2018.
The complexity of the work at the committees of the Arab Parliament involves four stages of meetings during the days Sunday and Monday.
In those days the draft report on the political situation in the Arab World League will be discussed, under the leadership of the Committee on Foreign and Political Affairs of the Arab National Security, to determine the general framework of the report and its approach and objectives of developments politicians in the Arab world. Another topic is Arab economic integration and its action plan for the second session of the Arab Economic and Financial Affairs Committee which will discuss Arab economic integration. The second meeting will discuss the mandates of the Committee for 2018 and the follow-up of the implementation of the mandates. The Legislative and Legal and Human Rights Commission will draft the first report on human rights and the state of Arab and Muslim communities in Western countries. Action plans for women and young people and on refugee status and the proposal of the president of the Arab parliament on the activation of the Arab Cup for football will be discussed at the Commission for Social, Education and Culture.
The Arab Parliament will hold its seventh session on the eve of the second meeting of the Arab Parliament to approve the agenda for the third meeting, which will take place on Tuesday 13 February 2018 in the Great Hall of the Arab League General Secretariat.
Also held on the sidelines of the meetings will be the meeting of the Committee on Palestine, and the meeting of the Joint Committee on Follow-up Reform of the Joint Arab Action System, and the meeting of the Commission on the condition of conception to assist refugees and support for displaced people, women and children. Then there was the meeting of the subcommittee to prepare a draft guidelines called the Health Care Act. A committee will work on an Arab bill that regulates work in the humanitarian sector and in charitable organizations. A Committee, on the other hand, will be responsible for drafting an integrated vision for the preparation of a draft law for guidelines for higher education and scientific research. One meeting, on the other hand, was dedicated to the less developed Arab countries
