Hunting F-16 escort aircraft of the Astana Air in difficulty during the flight over Portugal. Open inquiry

Two planes of the Portuguese Air Force escorted a plane with six crew members without passengers on board. The pilot of the aircraft of the airline Air Astana, reported the emergency complaining of a malfunction of the hydraulic system with problems in the command and control system, but landed safely about an hour later, an airport official reported today. Lieutenant General Manuel Costa told the Associated Press that the plane, manufactured by Brazilian company Embraer, "had difficulty with its command and control system." He added that two Portuguese Air Force F-16s accompanied the plane as authorities considered how to handle the emergency. The plane landed at Beja air base, about 180 km from Lisbon, in the Sunday afternoon. The military reported that no one was injured in the accident, although the plane did not land in the first attempt in Beja. Local media reported that the plane is an Embraer with a carrying capacity of 100 people. Air Astana is an airline from Kazakhstan. It is evident that it is a miracle, comments Giovanni D'Agata, president of the "Rights Window". There are too many incidents also due to the omitted revision of the aircraft.
