Agents of the State Police of the Mobile Squads of Foggia, Bari and of the Central Operational Service in the early hours of the morning, are carrying out numerous precautionary measures issued following an articulated investigation activity, coordinated by the District Anti-Mafia Directorate of Bari, which allowed to break up a criminal group, connected to the Gargano mafia faction of the so-called Clan. of the Montanari. The investigation, called "Criminal Bloodline" due to the criminal status and the important family ties of one of the top exponents with the aforementioned criminal organization, made it possible to ascertain the monopoly of the group in drug management in the entire city of Manfredonia (FG) and the sale of large quantities of drugs destined to supply the squares of the city's “nightlife”, also occupying strategic points with members of the group.
