The death toll from a truck bomb explosion in Qalat, in southern Afghanistan, the capital of the province of Zabul, has risen to 20 dead.
The news was disclosed by the head of the local provincial council, Ata Jan Haqbayan, quoted by the "Dpa" news agency.
According to local authorities, the explosion occurred near a hospital and a building housing the Afghan secret services. The attack was claimed by the Taliban.
