In Rome, the first edition of the digital electroneuromyography course

At the start in Rome, at the FH55 Grand Hotel Palatino, in via Cavour, the first edition of the new "THEORICO-PRACTICAL COURSE IN ELECTRONEUROMYOGRAPHY AND DIGITAL NEUROPHYSIOLOGICAL: GOOD CLINICAL PRACTICE" organized by Dr. Marilena Mangiardi of the AO San Camillo-Forlanini , scientific director and member of the Aidr digital holiness observatory.

The training initiative, lasting three days, will see the participation of over 50 surgeons in the disciplines of physical medicine and rehabilitation, neurology, neurophysiopathology, child neuropsychiatry, neurosurgery, orthopedics and traumatology, anesthesia and resuscitation and neurophysiopathology technicians. On the final day, scheduled for Friday 18 November, Chiara Colosimo, Deputy of the Republic, will intervene for the institutional greetings.

The initiative is sponsored by the main companies in the sector:

  • AITN – Italian Association of Neurophysiopathology Technicians
  • ASNP – Italian Association for the Study of the Peripheral Nervous System
  • SINC – Italian Society of Clinical Neurophysiology
  • and the unconditional contribution of the sponsors: Abbvie, Agave, Alfasigma, Alexion, Alnylam, B2pharma, Bionen, CSL Behring, EBneuro, Ecupharma, EMS, Ipsen, Kedrion, Laborest, SEI EMG, Synopo, Taomed.

The theoretical-practical course of digital electromyography, accredited with 25 ECM credits, aims to deepen already known basic neurophysiological concepts and to acquire more specialized techniques such as nerve ultrasound and botulinum toxin applications through electromyography and ultrasound guidance and will allow all participants to achieve personal autonomy at an average level, for carrying out, interpreting and reporting the electromyographic examination.
