The fifth edition of the ABI - FEDUF - FIABA 'Finanza per il Sociale' journalistic award is starting

Theme of this year's award: 'Stories of inclusion: how financial education, also thanks to innovations, supports citizens in economic choices'

The fifth edition of the 'Social Finance' award, dedicated to young journalists and practitioners, is starting to support their commitment to tell the importance of financial culture for the country. The initiative was launched with the launch of the 'Month of Financial Education' by ABI (Italian Banking Association), FEDUF (Foundation for Financial Education and Savings, born on the initiative of ABI itself), and FIABA (Fondo Italiano Removal of Architectural Barriers). Promoted as part of the XVII edition of FIABADAY - National Day for the Elimination of Architectural Barriers, it is part of the long-term commitment of the banking world on the issues of financial and social savings.

Donation campaignThe initiative is sponsored by the National Council of the Order of Journalists. The fifth edition is launched with the collaboration - as a partner - of the Committee for the planning and coordination of financial education activities, the Savings Museum (MdR) and the CeRP-Fondazione Collegio Carlo Alberto.

Renewed and strengthened in the proposal, the Award is intended for professional journalists, publicists, practitioners and students of journalism or master's schools recognized by the Order of Journalists, under the age of 35 (including). The award promoted by ABI, FEDUF, FIABA aims to involve and enhance the commitment of young journalists to take on the challenges of economic journalism, in a historical period in which adequate information and financial training are a true service for the development of skills essential.

Theme of the award

The best radio-television article or service that has dealt with the theme will be awarded: 'Stories of inclusion: how financial education, also thanks to innovations, supports citizens in economic choices'. The paper must therefore highlight how the use of technologies and new teaching approaches at the service of financial education and savings can help promote the social inclusion and autonomy of people, even the most vulnerable sections of the population.

How to participate

Participation in the Award is free. Each competitor can participate individually or in groups with only one article / service, whether published or broadcast between the 1 ° March 2019 and the 1 ° March 2020.

The competition paper must be sent by 6 in March 2020 by e-mail, indicating the subject 'Finance Award for Social Issue V Edition' as the subject:

The Prize, which provides for the awarding of an economic recognition, will end with the proclamation of the winner.
