Bad weather alert. E45 – A14 road situation

With reference to the bad weather that is affecting central-northern Italy, the two most critical situations affecting the country's major roads are shown below:

  • Closing the E45 in a northerly direction at the height of San Sepolcro (AR) for heavy traffic which is compulsorily diverted to the A1;
  • A14: obligatory exit for all vehicles heading north at the Rimini Nord toll booth; mandatory exit for southbound traffic on A13 northbound; traffic from A13 southbound can travel the A14 northbound only. At the moment work is underway to open a by-pass between the toll booths Faenza e Forlì in order to allow vehicles stationary on the southbound carriageway to be able to reverse the direction of travel on the northbound carriageway and exit at the tollbooth of Faenza.
