The death toll from the victims of the Syrian regime against the rebel enclave near Damascus continues to rise.
According to reports from the Human Rights Observatory, at least 100 civilians, including 20 children, were killed during the bombing carried out yesterday by the Syrian air forces on Eastern Ghouta, adding that this is the heaviest loss of civilians in a single day since the beginning of 2015. Hundreds of people have also been injured by a decisive action of the artillery which suggests an eminent ground offensive by the Syrian army.
