The friction between London and Moscow has not subsided following the episode that concerned the former Russian spy and her daughter, victims of an attack with chemicals while they were in British territory. To speak in this case is the Russian ambassador to the EU Vladimir Chizhov, who in an interview given by the diplomat to the BBC reiterates that Russia "has nothing to do" with the poisoning and that the 'nerve agent used to attack in Salisbury the former Russian spy Serghei Skripal and his daughter Yulia, came from a laboratory in Britain.
For the Russian ambassador, the nerve agent was kept at Porton Down, "the largest British military structure in chemical weapons research," which is just 12 kilometers from Salisbury, the scene of the attack.
There is no waiting for the reply from London, which with Foreign Minister Boris Johnson, replies annoyed at Chizhov's accusations, calling "ridiculous" the statements issued by the Russian diplomat and stressing in this regard that "a country that knows it is innocent not he answers this way ".
