Attack in Palestine and the accusations of Hamas and Fatah

In an official statement today, the Hamas terrorist organization rejected Fatah's accusations of being behind the attempted murder of PA Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah.

Hamas also hinted that Israel was behind the attack, several sources reported.
Hamas condemned the attack on Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah after an explosion hit his convoy just as it was entering the Gaza Strip. In an official statement on its English-language website on Tuesday, the terrorist organization said it views the incident as an attempt to undermine efforts towards Palestinian reconciliation.
In its statement, Hamas said the assassination attempt was made by those responsible for the murder of its senior member Mazen Fuqaha and the attempted murder of its general Tawfik Abu Naim last year.

Hama had previously accused "the Zionist enemy" of these attacks.
Hamas has also responded to the Palestinian Authority's accusations that Hamas was behind the attack. "Hamas condemns the accusations by the Palestinian presidency," he quoted the statement. "Hamas asks that the security services and the interior ministry open an urgent and immediate investigation into the incident to find out who is responsible and to bring the perpetrators to justice".
