Aeronautica Militare and Bocconi University of Milan: signed framework agreement

The Chief of Staff of the Air Force, Squad General Enzo Vecciarelli, and the Magnificent Rector of the Luigi Bocconi University, Prof. Gianmario Verona, signed the Framework Agreement aimed at developing and testing new methodologies and tools relating to areas of Project, Quality and Knowledge Management.

The Agreement is part of a broader program of collaboration with entities outside the Armed Force in the field of Research & Development of managerial skills in support of organizational innovation processes. Bocconi University is a scientific and cultural reference point in economic, managerial, quantitative and legal sciences, both nationally and internationally. The signing of this Agreement is in line with the Vision & Mission dictated by the Chief of Staff of the Air Force which envisages the objective of redesigning the Organization in more functional terms, marking the important passage from an occasional and personalistic approach to one structured and shared through activities aimed at promoting and pursuing the efficiency, effectiveness and economy of operation of the Armed Force in a context of transformation and continuous improvement.

In this framework, the Air Force General Staff will oversee the implementation of specific activities aimed at sharing the Armed Forces Organizational Innovation Model on databases used by all the major international business schools and developing a set of distinctive skills for the Headquarters of the Italian Air Force.
