"Capo e Natina - Racconti con ricette" a very successful book at the Turin Book Fair

Samantha Scala she made her debut as a writer for Lombardi Editori with her first work “Capo e Natina”, stories with recipes. After experiences in the world of entrepreneurship, architecture and design, in 2013 he founded the cultural food and wine association Be Ho.me supporting, with it, the promotion of the Sicilian territory, enhancing its identity, resources and vocation. Culinary narrative book extolling the contrasts that characterize the Sicilian gastronomic culture, through an original narrative and fictional characters that enrich a volume of recipes told with grace, linguistic and dialectal refinement. The author of this volume embellishes her recipes with a journey to Sicily of traditions and abundance. The preface is a great name for Sicilian gastronomic journalism: Damiano Chiaramonte.

The photos are by Monique D'anna, undisputed professional of food photography, lives in Switzerland and holds the only traveling courses in Italy.

The illustrations to the recipes, summarized in the appendix, are by Alessia Bertuna: a student who has just graduated from Liceo Gagini in Syracuse, winner of the "Capo and Natina" competition, announced last March, thanks to which the most deserving student, , would have had the opportunity to be published in the book.
