Certifications for environmental quality an ethic necessary for companies

In order for there to be sustainable development for companies, a correct approach to environmental quality is mandatory. Fortunately, this is a firm awareness within our entrepreneurial fabric, which figures well on the world scene, placing itself at the top in terms of ISO 14001 certifications.

The commitment of companies that start a path of self-control and entrepreneurial responsibility, starting from the creation of an Environmental Management System, is not a foregone conclusion. It is a management process based on the so-called PDCA Cycle (Plan-Do-Check-Act), or rather on a model divided into four distinct phases aimed at the optimization and continuous improvement of the business logic.

Through the four steps of the System, the company will be able to achieve the greatest possible systematic balance between economy and ecology, while at the same time sending an important message to partners and stakeholders more generally. The message is precisely environmental quality, understood as a quality not necessarily promoted by market laws and intended to satisfy the needs not only of the organization or its customers, but of the entire community. And it is precisely for this reason that environmental quality plays above all an ethical-social role.

Specifically, the aforementioned ISO 14001 certification helps to identify the impact of its activities on the environment for the company, acquiring a system logic that can be continued in the future, continuously updated with current regulations. The company builds trust by developing appropriate measures, and saves you with systematic and forward-looking action. Within this process there is the prevention and handling of environmental risks. By seeking ISO 14001, the company also operates an awareness-raising process towards its employees, who in turn will recognize the need for the measures adopted and to make their work environment particularly ethical from an environmental point of view.

Since environmental quality and respect are the ideological and commercial foundations of our company, we at Green Holding could not continue to make a continuous commitment to this plan, creating in our companies a management system focused on its own ISO certifications. 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.

Environmental certification is a sign of commitment, change and respect for the reality that hosts us, which we hope can be shared and researched as much as possible by all Italian companies. In this way these could represent a real model for a renewed environmental management of the company towards other European and world organizations, contributing significantly to greater environmental protection.
