China, the construction route the most complicated infrastructure project

The construction of the Dazhunshan railway tunnel in southwest China's Yunnan province, considered the most complicated infrastructure project ever carried out by the eastern country, has entered its final phase. The works, which had to be completed in 2014, were slowed down by unexpected and difficult to deal with geographic and climatic conditions. The government expects the tunnel to be inaugurated by 2021. But this is not the only record-breaking project. Among hundreds of record-breaking buildings, Beijing has inaugurated the world's largest high-speed railway, the 2.298-kilometer-long Beijing-Canton, the largest building in the world and the tallest airport ever built, at over four thousand meters above sea.
