Coca Cola, incoming new alcoholic version

Many versions that the historic American company has launched on the market, 'light', 'zero' or 'without caffeine', is now planning a new alcoholic drink after 130 years of history. The drink will be released in Japan, a very fertile market for the company where it is possible to find a wide variety of flavors. According to what explained Jorge Garduno, president of Coca-Cola in Japan, "the new product will belong to the Chu-Hi category", a type of alcohol very fashionable and widespread in the land of the Rising Sun, which contains distilled alcohol from Sochu mixed with flavored carbonated water, with an alcohol content ranging between 3 and 8%. "We have never dealt with the alcohol category, but this is an example of how we continue to explore opportunities outside our main areas", added Garduno, specifying that "the experiment will probably only concern Japan, because in the rest of the world Coca Cola is a non-alcoholic institution and this drink is a test for a specific slice of our market. The experiment could be replicated over time to the rest of the world.
