Conaway: no evidence of collusion between Trump and Russia

Mike Conaway, president of the Intelligence Committee of the Chamber who investigated the possible collusion between the Donald Trump campaign and Russia, has announced that no evidence has emerged to show the existence of an interference by Moscow on the two-year vote does.

Conaway, who led the work of the Commission for a year, said: "We have not found evidence of collusion", stressing that the worst things that have been discovered "are perhaps some inappropriate meetings, negative evaluations, inappropriate evaluations in making these meetings" , like that of the June 2016 at the Trump Tower in New York between some members of the campaign of the then Republican candidate and a Russian lawyer. That meeting, underlined Conaway, "there is no doubt, it should not have been there".
