As part of a territory control service aimed at guaranteeing greater safety in places of social gathering and maintaining high attention on the safety of road traffic, the Carabinieri of the Compagnia di Colleferro have carried out numerous checks in the various municipalities of competence.
The military checks concerned the public places of the Colleferrino center, meeting places for young people, and also the main road arteries in order to prevent road accidents. The "gazelles" of the emergency intervention of Colleferro Mobile Radio Nucleus and those of the Carpineto Romano station, Gorga e montelanico, which led to the complaint in a state of freedom of two people, to the Prosecutor of the Republic of Velletri, and four others instead have been reported to the Prefecture of Rome, as users of drugs.
In particular, the Carabinieri of the Radiomobile Rate, last night, in Artena (Rm), surprised a 30-year-old from Lariano driving a car with a blood alcohol content over twice the legal limit. For the man, the complaint to the Prosecutor of the Republic of Velletri was triggered and the license was withdrawn.
Yesterday afternoon, the soldiers of the Norm of Colleferro checked a small car with two local people on board, both in possession of a modest amount of marijuana, the subsequent house search of the passenger made it possible to find further doses of drugs, a precision scale and useful packaging material. The latter was also taken for the latter complaint to the Judicial Authority while for the driver, reporting to the Prefecture with the consequent withdrawal of the licence.
The same fate befell three other young men who, last night in Colleferro, were surprised by the soldiers of the Carpineto Romano, Gorga and Montelanico Stations in possession of small quantities of cocaine and hashish.
During the extraordinary prevention service, the Carabinieri of the Compagnia di Colleferro identified 239 people, controlled 163 vehicles and 18 people subjected to house arrest, carried out 10 searches, seized a car and withdrew 3 driving licenses, raising 10 fines pursuant to Highway Code - for a total amount of over 1.000 euros - reducing a total of 20 points from the licenses of undisciplined motorists.
