Coronavirus, ANA: street vendors ask the government for concrete action

Our association ANA (National Association of Street Vendors), which represents the category of street vendors in 15 regions and in the largest Italian cities, has submitted the following requests to the Government and to the majority and opposition parties, to help a category already in difficulty because of the unfair competition of the greats online sales player, even more today, brought to its knees by the great problem that grips our nation, which is the Coronavirus. This is what is stated in a joint note on National President and National Vice President of ANA, Ivano Zonetti and Angelo Pavoncello.

The requests are as follows: 1 - Recognition of the state of crisis of street vendors. 2-Exemption from all tax payments, personal income tax, VAT, INPS and INAIL for the whole of 2020.3. 4 - Suspension of the obligations related to the electronic register and the receipt lottery. - Suspension of payments, TOSAP, COSAP and TARI in the year 2020.5- Support fund also through Card of 500 ?? month to support the most troubled street vendors, who have to buy basic necessities until the end of the emergency. 6- Immediate revocation of all orders to suspend markets and fairs in municipalities not included in the red zone (or all, or for none, e.g. shopping centers) 7- Extension of all concessions on the public area expiring in 2020 to 31/12/2022.

The claims have also been made in the event that took place yesterday in Naples, where hundreds and hundreds of Campania vendors participated, led by National Secretary of ANA Marrigo Rosato, who met the Prefect and handed him the requests, for the survival of our category. Requests as mentioned, which in addition to being delivered to the Government, we also delivered to the opposition parties through the national secretary of the League Matteo Salvini, Ivano Zonetti and Angelo Pavoncello of ANA conclude in the hope that everyone will be able to accept our requests unanimously.
