The Department continues its efforts in coordinating all the components and operating structures of the National Civil Protection Service.
In particular, in the field of health monitoring relating to the spread of Coronavirus in our territory, to date, April 30, the total number of people who have contracted the virus is 205.463, with an increase compared to yesterday of 1.872 new cases. The total number of currently positive is 101.551, with a decrease of 3.106 patients compared to yesterday.
Of the currently positive 1.694 are undergoing intensive care, with a decrease of 101 patients compared to yesterday.
18.149 people are hospitalized with symptoms, a decrease of 1.061 patients compared to yesterday.
81.708 people, equal to 80% of the currently positive, are in isolation without symptoms or with mild symptoms.
Compared to yesterday, 285 died and bring the total to 27.967. The overall number of those discharged and recovered rises to 75.945, with an increase of 4.693 people compared to yesterday.
In detail, the currently positive cases are 36.211 in Lombardy, 15.493 in Piedmont, 9.563 in Emilia-Romagna, 8.147 in Veneto, 5.584 in Tuscany, 3.551 in Liguria, 4.468 in Lazio, 3.210 in the Marche, 2.773 in Campania, 1.370 in the Autonomous Province Trento, 2.949 in Puglia, 2.157 in Sicily, 1.170 in Friuli Venezia Giulia, 1.915 in Abruzzo, 802 in the Autonomous Province of Bolzano, 233 in Umbria, 744 in Sardinia, 89 in Valle d'Aosta, 740 in Calabria, 192 in Basilicata and 190 in Molise.
