At the headquarters of the Department of Civil Protection, the work of the Operating Committee continues in order to ensure the coordination of the interventions of the components and operational structures of the National Civil Protection Service. As regards health monitoring relating to the spread of Coronavirus on the national territory, currently 57.521 people are positive for the virus. To date, there have been 74.386 total cases in Italy.
In detail: there are currently 20.591 positive cases in Lombardy, 8.256 in Emilia-Romagna, 5.745 in Veneto, 5.556 in Piedmont, 2.639 in the Marche, 2.776 in Tuscany, 1.826 in Liguria, 1.675 in Lazio, 1.072 in Campania, 1.058 in the Autonomous Province Trento, 1.023 in Puglia, 911 in Friuli Venezia Giulia, 748 in the Autonomous Province of Bolzano, 936 in Sicily, 738 in Abruzzo, 686 in Umbria, 375 in Valle d'Aosta, 412 in Sardinia, 333 in Calabria, 112 in Basilicata and 53 in Molise.
9.362 people were healed. 7.503 died, but this number can be confirmed only after the Istituto Superiore di Sanità has established the actual cause of the death.
