Coronavirus. Zonetti-Pavoncello (ANA): "Get the street vendors to work." Rosato: "everyone in Naples on March 6"

"Specifying that we share whatever measures are taken for the good of citizens and public health, we denounce that many mayors, with the excuse of Coronavirus, are suspending many markets, despite government directives speak clearly, that is, except in the red areas they should not be suspended“, So they declared  Ivano Zonetti e Angel Pavoncello respectively President and Vice-President ANA(National Association of Peddlers). "This irresponsible behavior of those who manage a city, will end up killing an already crisis sector, which is undergoing a huge drop in sales due to the unfair competition of the online giants of online commerce".
We receive numerous reports on this, from many street vendors, that some municipalities, often, not even remotely affected by the infection, have issued orders to suspend the markets, leaving large retail structures and shopping centers open, which being closed places are certainly much more risk of open markets.
We point out that already beyond the crisis, the fear of Coronavirus has sent away many market goers, continue Ivano Zonetti and Angelo Pavoncello.
Precisely for these reasons ANA, through its National Secretary Marrigo Rosato, announces that there will be on March 6th a first demonstration in Naples, to ask for the revocation of the market suspension ordinances, enough with these positions that only instill fear, so much so, that people no longer leave the house, and tourism both inside and outside, as seen by the cancellations, which have exceeded 90% in this month of March, it is already dead.
Therefore, the ANA invites the Prefectures and the Mayors to revoke with immediate effect the ordinances with which they suspended the markets - continue Ivano Zonetti and Angelo Pavoncello.
We also renew the request to the Government to immediately implement a support fund for all the category of street vendors in the public area,
that goes from the suspension of the payment of public land, to taxes, to VAT, up to a real financial support fund that compensates for the missed collections-conclude Ivano Zonetti and Angelo Pavoncello of the National Association of Ambulanti.
