(by Francesco Matera) Count to his followers: "Trust me". On the surface it looks like the Contiana Caporetto, but the Apulian lawyer is sure he has the ace up his sleeve. First of all, Corsera reveals, he will try to ask for an extension of the presentation of Minister Bonafede's report on justice by one day on Thursday. The "dead line" of the Conte 2 government is precisely on the vote for that report. Renzi has already promised not to vote for it even if in the last few hours he has shown some openness: "Let's go back to talking about politics". Conte knows, however, that the Renzi chapter is closed, those of the Movement have got in the way, Di Battista in the lead. The recruitment of the "builders" has been frozen and in the Bonafede vote both Liliana Segre and Lady Mastella have already announced that they will not be present.

Time is running out. We must run for cover and immediately because falling in the Senate would mean going to the elections, a path that no one wants to take. To date, 154 Giallorossi are counted for the vote on the Bonafede report, including the defeat of Fi Maria Rosaria Rossi in the face of 156 senators from the opposition, Italia Viva included.

But we run on a tightrope because there are Comincini, Grimant, Marino and Sbrollini ready to return to the ranks of the Democratic Party. From Forza Italia, however, Luigi Vitali would be ready to unmark himself while two of the UDC, Binetti and Saccone, are almost convinced to support the Conte government.

With 4 Senators from Maie, Sandra Mastella and at least 4 other senators, a well-defined parliamentary group could be created capable of allowing Conte to go up to the Hill to propose a Count. A Count ter is also desired by Mara Carfargna and by the parliamentarians who refer to Giovanni Toti, perhaps with an institutional color with everyone inside.

If the situation were to precipitate, in the absence of convincing numbers before the vote on the Bonafede report, Conte would risk big because in order not to return to the Pd and M5S elections they could impose an institutional Count, or a government without Conte with Renzi inside. Another solution could be the resignation, before the vote, of Minister Bonafede, a way to delay and create more parliamentary substance.

In short, all in 4 days.
