Valditara: "Definite a precise action plan to defend the public education system"

As part of the legality operation against diploma factories, a meeting was held today at the Ministry of Education and Merit, which was attended by the Minister Joseph Vallettara, the Chief of Staff Joseph Recinto, the Head of Department Carmella Palumbo and the Director General of USR Campania Hector Acerra.

Director Acerra delivered to the Minister a report resulting from the checks carried out over the last few months following an express request from the Ministry. A similar document on these aspects has been prepared by the USR of the Lazio Region.

The report of the director of Campania and the in-depth analyzes carried out during the meeting confirmed the need to intervene systematically and on several levels to combat the phenomenon of diploma firms. In particular, at the end of the meeting it was decided to operate in three directions: to act on the strengthening of controls, to elaborate a series of interventions of an administrative nature and to prepare some regulatory solutions.

Furthermore, the first inspection reports relating to the Campania, Lazio and Sicily regions, which the Minister had requested last Monday, will be delivered as early as tomorrow.

"We have defined a precise action plan that we will carry out with determination to counter any phenomenon of opacity and illegality, in defense of the public education system”, so the Minister Vallettara.
