 At 13:15 today, Wednesday 14 March, the Air Force intervened with an urgent medical flight to transport a XNUMX-year-old pregnant woman in imminent danger of life from Sardinia.

The flight was carried out by a Falcon 50 aircraft of the 31st Wing of Ciampino, which took off following a request received by the Prefecture of Cagliari at the Summit Situation Room of the Air Squad Command.

The F50, arrived in Cagliari to embark the young patient together with a medical team, then landed at about 14 pm in Bologna, where the woman was disembarked and urgently transported to the S. Orsola-Malpighi Hospital in Bologna. , where he was able to receive the necessary specialist care.

Missions of this type require high operational readiness.
