The competition of ideas entitled "Victims of duty and the constitutional principle of equality", Proposed by the Victims of Duty Association in collaboration with the Ministry of Education. The initiative, aimed at female students and students of secondary schools of I and II degree throughout Italy, provides for the assignment of scholarships for the purchase of school material, intended for young winners and disbursed through the contribution of the families of the Victims of Duty.
This year's theme is Article 3 of the Constitution. The works (texts, comics, songs or short films) must be sent by 13 May 2022 to the email address segreteria@vittimedeldovere.it or uploaded to the www.cittadinanzaelegalita.it platform. Specifically, it is proposed to students to elaborate analyzes and insights on the value principle that animates Article 3 of the Constitution. An idea through which to keep alive the example and memory of those who, by serving the State, have endangered and, in some cases, given their lives for the entire community.
The initiative is also part of the "Project for Education to Citizenship and Legality in memory of the Victims of Duty" that the Association has been carrying out for years in schools, with the aim of developing legal, sociological and historians of the contemporary era, in compliance with the Memorandum of Understanding signed on 4 October 2018 with the Ministry.
The "Victims of Duty"Are the representatives of the institutions that have lost their lives to affirm the rights of freedom, justice and democracy on which the Republic is founded; in particular, belonging to the Armed Forces, Police Forces and the Judiciary.
