Italian Navy helicopter crashes into the sea. Once the crew members had recovered, one of the five died

During a scheduled night exercise, an Italian Navy helicopter, embarked on the Borsini ship, engaged in the 'safe sea' operation in progress in the Mediterranean, crashed into the sea. One of the crew members died in the ditching while four others were rescued.
This was announced by the General Staff of Defense stating that the five crew members were promptly recovered and transported to the Borsini military ship for the necessary assessments and health care. The conditions of the four survivors, or the causes of the accident involving the helicopter, are not known at the time, during the nocturnal training activity.
