Enit at the 77th Venice Film Festival

The Italian National Tourism Agency launches an ad hoc award for the film that enhances the theme of travel at the start of the "Smile Different Venice Award" for the best Italian and foreign filmro, testimonial of the smile Valeria Marini

(by Francesca Citatelli) Enit-Agenzia Nazionale del Turismo joins the Biennale family and does so with the experience of Dream on which for the tenth consecutive year renews its collaboration with the Venice International Film Festival and inherits the "Sorriso different Venice Award ”by the organization of the International Short Film Festival Black Silk Tulips, the University is looking for work and the TSN. The “Smile Different Venice Award” will take place on Friday 11 September, at 16 pm at the Hotel Excelsior, in the Spazio Incontri Venice Production Bridge.

Enit - The Italian Tourism Agency will deliver the “Il Viaggio Turismo Enit” award to the film that best enhances the image of the beauty of Italy in the world for the relaunch of Italian tourism.  The jury of the special edition of the ENIT award will be composed of the board of the Italian Film Commission, chaired by Cristina Priarone - President of the Italian Film Commission and director of the Roma Lazio Film Commission, with Paolo Manera - Vice President of the Italian Film Commission and director of Turin Piemonte Film Commission and Luca Ferrario - Vice President of the Italian Film Commission and director of the Trentino Film Commission. The Prize will be awarded by Maria Elena Rossi, Enit marketing director.

 There are 7 works competing for the award that contain suggestive images of Italy:  “Le Sorelle Macaluso” by Emma Dante; "Padrenostro" by Claudio Noce; "The truth about the Dolce Vita" by Giuseppe Pedersoli; "Molecules" by Andrea Segre; "Salvatore" by Luca Guadagnino; "Lacci" by Daniele Lucchetti; “Let Me Go” by Stefano Mordini.

“The places linked to cinema are bearers of memorable experiences that encourage the discovery of the territories. Films are a stimulus to the enhancement of locations, enhancement that is not so automatic but it is necessary to prepare strategies and spaces for reception and a drive to develop growing interest in even lesser-known places seen from different angles and points of view "declares the President Enit Giorgio Palmucci.

For the Sorriso Diverso Venezia Award, there will be a jury  of experts from the world of cinema composed of Catello Masullo (President of the Jury), Paola Dei (Vice President of the Jury), Armando Lostaglio, Rossella Pozza, Marcello Zeppi who will decree the "Best Italian Film" and the "Best Foreign Film" The award it will be delivered by Valeria Marini who will receive the “Testimonial of the Different Smile” for the enhancement of the role of women artists and entrepreneurs and for the “Boom” project, dedicated to all “star” women. Written together with Giacomo Eva, it aims to make all generations dance on warm summer evenings but ... keeping your distance. “Boom” was arranged by Matteo Caretto at the Scene Music Studio, mixed and mastered by Giampaolo Pasquile. It has reached over 600.000 views on Youtube, and has obtained over 100.000 plays on Spotify, being included in over 2.300 playlists. The song was released by the Joseba Publishing label e  produced by Gianni Testa who declares: “Thank you for the incredible opportunity you have given us with this award. Being in Venice with you is a great achievement for our young label ”.

The Smile Different Venice Award, is part of the "mission" of cinema of social interest that enhances diversity and protects the fragility of people, promoted in Italy by The University Cerca Lavoro with the support of MIBACT, MIUR, Lazio Region , Istituto Cine-TV Rossellini Roma Lazio Film Commission - which sees at the forefront the President Diego Righini, the Artistic Director Paola Tassone, the executive producer Leonardo Jannitti Piromallo and the president of the UCL Association Ilaria Battistelli: the collateral Award of Venice for years deals with using the cinema tool as an enhancer of social issues, bringing to the attention of the public interesting cinematographic products with messages of real life that provide great moments of reflection, hope, respect and listening skills.
