Dissemination of digital culture and issues related to the use of new technologies, at a time of great transformations within our country. This is the commitment of the Italian Digital Revolution Association (www.aidr.it) which continues in its mission, strengthened by the results achieved in the first five years under the leadership of the president Mauro Nicastri, just reconfirmed by the shareholders' meeting together with the Board of Directors and the treasurer. The network that can count on the membership of companies, universities, associations, foundations, newspapers, freelancers, university professors, public officials including members and honorary members, is preparing to begin the new five-year period with even more momentum and a more widespread presence in the area, in the direction of an ever greater diffusion of digital culture.

"2020 marked a turning point in the digitization process in our country - underlined the president during his speech Nicastri.  There has been a sudden expansion of users of technologies in all sectors. Digitization, riding on the wave of the emergency, however, has brought our association to a consideration: our country still lacks adequate training on the part of citizens. We are therefore called to a greater commitment. "

Today it becomes more than ever a priority to invest in this direction, we must acknowledge that Aidr has been far-sighted for the initiatives promoted over the years - thus during his speech at the meeting Charles DeMasi - National president of Adiconsum and honorary member of Aidr: "This association has been able to provide the social tools useful to accompany citizens and businesses in this delicate historical moment".

The Istat general manager is also on the same wavelength Michael Camisasca and honorary member of Aidr: “The issues of digitization, which are extremely topical today, have been at the center of Aidr's mission for years. The network has been able to look at the evolution of our company with extreme foresight ". Concrete support for companies in the digital transition, the merit underlined by Camillo I hate - Head of the Information Flows and Digital Health Service of the Abruzzo Region - during his speech. The association has accompanied with its numerous initiatives to promote digital culture, many realities. "In a fundamental moment linked to the digital transition - he stressed Gennaro Niglio IT Director for GSE, we found in Aidr an attentive interlocutor who was able to anticipate important issues that concern us all.""The association has had the merit of giving voice to the numerous realities that use new technologies as tools aimed at promoting transparency and social responsibility, so in his speech the prof. Vincenzo Mongillo - lecturer at Unitelma University - Sapienza, and member of the Technical - Scientific Committee of the "AIDR National Award for the dissemination of Transparency and Ethics in the PA," recognition promoted by the association and addressed to virtuous public administrations in the field of transparency and fight against corruption. "The action of Aidr - underlined in conclusion of the assembly Flavia Marzano, university professor and consultant for over twenty years for the innovation of the Public Administration, has had the great merit of creating a network for sharing knowledge even among the professionals themselves. A 360-degree network in which you can compare yourself on highly topical issues. "
In the direction of an increasingly precise contribution to the issues of digitization, Aidr has just set up a working group on the Recovery Fund, coordinated by Davide D'Amico, Aidr member and PA manager, who will offer skills and knowledge for all those who want to access the contribution foreseen by the planning approved by the Government.
