They do not subside, as was hypothetical the controversies regarding the question referred to the displacement of the capital of Israel to Jerusalem. After the total condemnation of the Arab world, for an act that could unleash heavy reactions of all the people of Muslim faith spread throughout the world, there is the comment of the Republican Senator of the United States of America, John McCain, who while personally pronouncing himself in favor of the idea of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, he believes that the issue should be resolved directly in the Middle Eastern region between Israelis and Palestinians. Here are his words:
“I have always believed that Jerusalem was the real capital of Israel. However, issues surrounding Jerusalem's final and permanent status must ultimately be resolved by Israelis and Palestinians as part of an internationally supported peace process. This is why today's policy announcement, as well as any future relocation of the U.S. Embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, should be part of a comprehensive diplomatic strategy in coordination with regional partners to achieve peace and security between Israelis and Palestinians ”.
