The Italian expedition to the Tokyo Paralympic Games continues to give Italians emotions. A shower of medals today also thanks to the successes of the athletes of the State Police who won 2 silver and 1 bronze in the disciplines of fencing and swimming.
Silver medal for the women's team foil composed by the athletes Beatrice Vio, Ionela Andreea Mogos and Loredana Trigilia and for Giulia Ghiretti in the 100m breaststroke with a time of 1'50 ”36.
Fourth Olympic podium and bronze medal for Carlotta Gilli in the 50m freestyle with a time of 27 ”07.
To date, 15 medals have been won by the sports group of the State Police: 5 gold, 5 silver and 5 bronze out of the total of 27 in the Italian medal table.
