Day of Remembrance, the winning schools of the "February 10" national competition awarded at the Quirinale

Valditara: "These institutes represent an entire school system that preserves memory and testimony"

"The Remembrance Day aims to preserve and renew the memory of the tragedy of the thousands of Italians killed and infoibati and of the hundreds of thousands of our compatriots forced to abandon the lands of Istria, Fiume and Dalmatia after the Second World War", declared the Minister of Education and Merit Giuseppe Valditara this morning at the Quirinale, during the ceremony to celebrate the "Day of Remembrance".

“Beyond the specific historical context, those tragedies were possible because ideology disregarded the centrality of the human person, and denied the values of democracy – continued the Minister -.
